The long way round is the way to go. Make sure you drive round the castle. Its a spectacular from below as the view is from up above. Stirling is about an hours drive from Lammerlaw, and its a must see. A tip for families. Get an Explorer Pass ,its good for Edinburgh, Stirling, Linlithgow and more.
