A wee jaunt......

The John Buchan Way between Broughton and Peebles offers an opportunity to visit and view some of the Scottish Borders local glens, as well as a variety of walks over higher ground, offering stunning views. A recent visit to Broughton Heights (a short drive away) was an absolute delight….. and the reward at the end - a visit to the lovely, award winning, Laurel Bank Tea Room in Broughton afterwards was the perfect way to end the day 😊

Easter 🐣

As we prepare for a busy lambing season, our Guests have made the most of the inclement weather to visit wonderful local attractions such as The Leadhills Mining Museum in Wanlockhead, The Falls of Clyde at New Lanark World Heritage Site and Robert Smail's Printing Works, run by the National Trust for Scotland, and based in Innerleithen near Peebles.

... and we have had some happy helpers, collecting eggs from our hens - all good Easter fun!

Snow tracks...........

The closest you can get to a 'duvet day' on the farm........

Too snowy for most jobs, but grand to take in the views (in between the paperwork catch up!).  Lovely when it's not blowing a hooley and great for a walk too.  We have a lovely Owl hooting away at the moment in the evenings, lots of Robin Red Breasts and a lovely selection of Chaffinches coming to the feeders. Gorgeous.
